Senior Associate/Senior Architect

David is a registered Architect having over 36 years post graduate experience and has worked in Vancouver since 1994. He possesses broad and extensive project experience having led teams through all phases from design concept to built project completion. He joined Ciccozzi Architecture in 2020 where he is particularly appreciated for his design and presentation skills, with exceptional ability to generate hand drawn design sketches and renderings for concept visualization, then working with technicians to ensure accurate and meticulous implementation of the design concept.

David graduated from the University of Manitoba with Masters of Architecture and Bachelor of Environmental Studies degrees. He has excellent applied knowledge of building technology having taken all modules of the Building Envelope Education Program (BEEP) supplemented by extensive project experience. He also carries a LEED Green Associate Designation.

David finds it rewarding to see a project through from concept to built form and believes that inspiring architecture results from sensitivity to proportions of individual components creatively assembled into a single form, while simultaneously meeting the functional needs of the end user.

David enjoys travelling and has a passion for guitars and horses and enjoys hockey, tennis, football, and photography. He finds satisfaction in engaging regularly in volunteer activities.
