B.Arch, M. Urban Design

Intern Architect AIBC

Tahsina is a Junior Designer at Ciccozzi Architecture Inc. She moved to Vancouver from Bangladesh two years ago and is a graduate of UBC’s Master of Urban Design program. Prior to that she obtained her Bachelors in Architecture (B.Arch) from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology(BUET) in 2014 and worked for a couple of years in the building and interior industry in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Apart from the research experience during her time at UBC and with City of Surrey, Tahsina has also gathered one year of architectural experience in multifamily and mixed-use/ residential projects throughout the lower mainland before joining Ciccozzi Architecture.

She enjoys the connection between urban design, policy and architecture and how they influence one another. Her experience in both helps to zoom in and out from details to contexts of a project.

Apart from architecture, Tahsina is enthusiastic about photography and music. She also likes to travel and explore places that are unique in culture & character. In her spare time she enjoys volunteering for the Bengali community organizations, mainly through her graphic design skills.
