This is what Ciccozzi Architecture can do for you

May 24th, 2018

We know we’ve written about Oak + Park before. But this highly anticipated project just can’t seem to stay out of the limelight. The 40-unit townhome development by Alabaster Homes is making headlines and cover pages across the lower mainland (and looking darn good doing it), so we couldn’t resist sharing the latest buzz.

Located near the intersection of Park Drive and Oak Street, Oak + Park is the first of its kind for the Marpole neighbourhood. Alabaster states this as their flagship project that aims to “[raise] the bar for new townhomes in the City.”

The architecture itself is classic Ciccozzi, joining ageless details with contemporary design. This means heritage-style windows; black metal mullions, doorknockers, and oak leaf motif; and steep-pitched doorways and rooflines. These details create bold contrast against the white brick exteriors, adding to what BuzzBuzzHome has called “serious curb appeal.”

With credentials like these, it’s no wonder no one can stop talking about it.

In addition to the two feature articles we mentioned earlier this summer, Oak + Park appeared on the cover of the July edition of Westcoast Condominium. The development was described as “part of Marpole’s transformation,’ as the neighbourhood is slated to be the next up-and-coming community in the Vancouver market.

On the heels of all this publicity, Oak + Park has earned itself the number one spot on BuzzBuzzHome’s list of the top 10 most popular Vancouver developments in August 2016. The project is currently in preconstruction with a completion date set for Fall 2018. What can we say: we’re excited, too.
